----Lane Fisher----

Lane's Bio Pic

My name is Lane Fisher. I was born and raised in Fort Collins Colorado and attribute much of my success to my family, Jack, Julie and Sara for enabling me to pursue my dreams; which brings me to who I am. Ever since I can remember, I have been trying to learn about anything and everything I could get wrap my mind around and understand the implications it has on my life and the big picture. For this reason I choose to major in mechanical engineering to gain a fundamental understanding of how mass, momentum, and energy governs how the world; and by subtle manipulations in how these phenomena interact, marvelous creations exist.

The field renewable and sustainable energy is very exciting to me because energy conversion engineering is one of the foundational activities that define mechanical engineering. Development in this field will change the world and I anticipate being an active participant in the energy revolution.

----Doug Friedrichs----

Doug Bio Pic

My name is Doug Friedrichs and I am currently an undergraduate student at the Northern Arizona University. I am originally from Mesa, Arizona where I attended Mountain View high school.  In Mesa I enjoyed the outdoors and playing tennis.  In my college career I have not only chosen to pursue a high level of academia, but I have also taken on roles such as, the president of the NAU tennis team.  With the conclusion of my college career approaching, I am looking forward to entering into the job market and am eager to begin my career as a mechanical engineer.

----Ben Krebs----

Ben Krebs

Hello, my name is Ben Krebs and I am a senior mechanical engineering student at Northern Arizona University. I choose this senior capstone project because I wanted to gain experience in the field that I eventually want to go into: renewable energy. As the world continues to run out of resources it is our duty, for future generations, to come through with the technology to support the needs of every living human being on the planet. I hope to either enter this field right out of my undergraduate studies or to go onto graduate school and obtain a masters degree. I am currently applying to Stanford, University of Colorado, Arizona State University, and University of Michigan.

When I am not in the engineering building on campus I enjoy writing, lifting weights, riding bikes, and hanging out with friends. I am currently working on a novel and, I hope, to one day get it published.

GO PACKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

----Justin Taylor----

Justin Taylor

I am currently a senior at the Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.  Before I moved here, I lived in Lake Havasu City, AZ.  I moved to Lake Havasu in 1989 from San Diego, CA.  At this point my main focus is on school.  However, I do enjoy the occasional ("wish more frequent") mountain and road bicycle rides that I do with my friends up here in Flagstaff, and down in "Hav-town".  I also enjoy hiking and taking in the occasional theater flick when I have the time.  The number one thing I am looking forward to after I graduate is, of course finding a career in industry, but I really can't wait till I have a garage again.  After three years of storing my tool box in a closet, I have really learned to appreciate how awesome having a garage to work in really is.
