One of the reasons I chose mechanical engineering at NAU is that the curriculum includes a Capstone project, where small teams of students can test their abilities in actual engineering challenges. I’m excited to work with the Naval Observatory on the Navy Prototype Optical Interferometer. Having my work contribute to the exploration of space is quite inspiring. I am the production manager for the project. My hobbies include camping and boating with my wife and two sons. |

Post-Baccalaureate Senior, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with expected graduation date of December 2010. Coming back to school after a career in the automotive industry, I feel that I bring a unique insight of real world engineering issues to my fellow NAU classmates. I have seen a broad spectrum of quality in manufactured products. I know first hand how quality can drive the fortunes of large companies.
