I am a super-senior at NAU and will be graduating this May. I have genuinely enjoyed my time here at NAU, but am ready to be done studying for tests and start applying myself to real world engineering applications. I chose the NPOI-BBC capstone project based on my interest in advanced optics. This project has proved to be more complicated than first thought, but has been a great learning experience. It has pushed my engineering skills to new levels and allowed me to apply what I have learned to a real world engineering problem. In my spare time, I enjoy mountain biking, 4wheeling, building computers, and snowboarding. Over the past few years, I have been modifying my 1994 Toyota 4runner. So far the modifications have included: front and rear steel bumpers, rock sliders, roof rack, off-road lights, and most recently an automatic to manual transmission swap. The next modification on the list will be a rear air locker. |
