Manufacturing and Assembly

Most of the manufacturing was done at the NAU machine shop. In addition, the universal mounting plate, top shaft journals, cavitation plate, and gussets were water jet cut by Don Stone. All of the aluminum welding was done at Mayorga’s Welding. The welding caused some of our aluminum parts to deform therefore extra time was taken to ensure everything fit back together properly. This was the only major set back we encountered during manufacturing.
