Grand Canyon River Outfitters Association: Alternative Motorboat Project |
The Grand Canyon River Outfitters Association (GCROA) developed a project to divide among three universities; Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and the University of Utah. The three teams were tasked with redesigning the current outboard motor used for down river rafting trips to be more environmentally friendly, less noisy, and more durable.
