Mechanical Aspect
The mechanical team had the responsibility of interfacing the motor to the lower housing of the propeller shaft.
Above is the assemble the mechanical team developed to interface the electric motor to the lower half of the original motor. Material used was 5/8" aluminum stock precisely cut for functionality.
Pictured above is the complete motor assembly hooked to a dynomometer whiched measures the torque and rotational speed (rpm).
