Started in the 1800’s by Sheldon Smith, SmithGroup Inc.
is now the third largest architecture and engineering firm in the
nation. The company is based out of
Detroit, Michigan and currently employs approximately 850 employees, 75 of
which are based out of the Phoenix, Arizona office. SmithGroup’s reputation of engineering expertise and
innovative design has allowed them to be a part of many new and exciting
projects such as; the National Academies Building in Washington D.C. and
Discovery Communications in Silver Spring, Maryland. Our team’s client contact is Barney Bagby, P.E. He is the Chief Project Manager in
SmithGroup’s Phoenix office. Barney
has a degree in Electrical Engineering.
