Introduction                                         

Southwest Windpower, a local company in Flagstaff, AZ, desired a new rotor blade design for the AIR X model wind turbine. For the 486 Capstone Design Project, team ssenergy designed a new blade that operates at low Reynolds numbers and  performed the aerodynamic analysis. Jan - Feb

• Installing PRO-E and understanding the aerodynamic modeling program WT_Perf.

March - April

•  Input data into WT_Perf with low coefficient of lift, slight taper, and slight camber airfoils.
•   Finish drawings in PRO-E
