Car Filter Experiments.  Actions For a Healthy Planet.

Our experiments aim to validate the concepts proposed in the world’s most cutting-edge research on CO2 decomposition, to demonstrate the feasibility of the Sponsor’s proposal. We believe this technology serves as a bridge between traditional internal combustion engine technology and future transportation technologies. Regardless of the outcome, this is an unwavering effort to combat global warming and protect the Earth’s environment. Our Car Filter Experiments will help make mother nature proud.

Theoretical Basis

Our sponsor was inspired by two papers: COâ‚‚ can be decomposed through electrochemical methods, which seems achievable at high voltage, and the products depend on the chosen catalyst. Our task is to experimentally validate these concepts. Learn More

Vision & To Do

Our experimental setup aims to simulate a car exhaust environment, collect COâ‚‚, and use high-voltage equipment like a Van de Graaff generator to discharge, decompose COâ‚‚, and monitor the results. Additionally, we need to calculate the specific energy required for COâ‚‚ decomposition to assess the feasibility of a car filter. Learn More
