Current stage:
Currently we have our different subsystems completed, except one. We have Battery Pack subsystem, a BMS subsystem, a Controller and Wiring Subsystem, and the overall eBaja system. For our Battery Pack we have all of the batteries heat shrink wrapped, secured and tightened with rods and nuts, and connected in series. Our BMS, otherwise known as Battery Management System, is used to connect all the batteries together electrically. The BMS allows the Battery Pack to charge and discharge equally at the same time to allow us to keep better track of our Battery Pack subsystem. Connected to the BMS is an LCD screen in which we can visually see the percentages and the temperature of the Battery Pack. Having this LCD screen is imperative for us, because it allows to read accurately what the battery packʻs current state is at and how we can adjust our systems.
