Throughout our project we encountered several issues that set us back on time. We had issues with testing, wafer delivery, and setting up our probe card

Testing

When we first started testing we did not have any issues mostly due to the fact that we were only testing cells to see if they were good or bad. When we started taking measurements for temperature testing we notice that we were reviceing a voltage spike that was enough to skew our data. This meant that all of the temperature reads that we had taken were not usable and we had to start measurements again once we found a solution to the voltage spike problem.
We were able to implement a temporary fix that allowed us to continue to collect data for the time being. We shut off the temparature unit while testing in order to get rid of the spikes that we were having. Even though we found a solution to our problem it did take us some time to trouble shoot and find out what was causing the problem to begin with.

Delivery

When we got our capstone and were in contact with our client we recieved our wafers for testing and hit the ground running. Throughout the manufacturing process there were a couple of things went wrong that delayed the completed wafers. This in turn lead to a delay in recieving new wafers to compare the differences in manufacturing. Although this was a small setback it did take us some time to start testing delivered wafers and compare the data

Probe Card

In order for us to start testing exponentially faster we decided upon getting and setting up a probe card. we recieved the probe card without much hassle but the connector that we had to interface with it did not fit. This meant we had to either get a new connector or find a way to make the current connector fit. We opted for the first option as we wanted to refrain from damaging the probe card. This also meant that we would be waiting for another part to arrive setting us back just a little bit more. As a team we then decided to move forward without the probe card as it started to take up too much time and money. Without implementing the probe card we are able to focus on other aspects of the project and make more progress.

Overall

We did have quite a few setbacks throughout the course of our project, but for the most part we were able to occupy our time with other tasks. We were able to start good analysis and get other parts of the project moving while we had the down time. Even with the setbacks we had we were able to continue our work and get a final product that we were happy with
