The Project

Haptic rendering technology enables users to physically experience forces and sensations from virtual simulations, greatly enhancing interaction between humans and robots. At Raz Lab, located at Northern Arizona University, researchers are exploring the capabilities of the advanced Franka Research 3 (FR3) robot to develop immersive haptic experiences for human-robot interaction studies. Project HapTech aims to streamline this process by providing software solutions that allow researchers to efficiently design and conduct experiments.
