Our Schedule (Spring 2022 - Fall 2022)
Budget
Our working budget for this project is around $500. This is about enough for a low-end 2D LiDAR and a Raspberry Pi to work with. Higher-grade SLAM tools, such as a 3D LiDAR or camera, as well as a drone, cost many thousands of dollars. Our budget limitations severely hampered the scope that our project could take, but we did everything we could with the resources we had.

Thanks to Dr. Truong Nghiem for allowing us to borrow a LiDAR sensor, Dr. Michael Schaffer for giving us a depth camera, and the ROS community for helping us with technical issues in our project.
