Current Solution

Our envisioned solution is to create a piece of software capable of running on a laptop at first, and possibly on smartphones as a stretch goal. We will consider our product partly a success when we can take our device into the Engineering building on NAU's campus and be guided through the building base on requests to specific rooms as well as a predetermined tour which will take us to key areas in the building. A complete success will be established when we are able to show our product functions correctly in at least one other building.

Technologies Used

• Python: Our team decided this programming language would provide the most readily available modules to allow us to efficiently communicate with nearby routers.
• Robot Operating System (ROS): Our software will eventually be integrated with the robot, so it is important that our Python program is able to communicate with the robot's system properly.
