Smart software tool for classification of caribou camera collar data

Summarized Problem

By attaching collar cameras to caribou in the Alaska region, our sponsor has been able to obtain copious amounts of data about caribou and what they do. However, with only human volunteers currently able to analyze the data, the categorizing and extracting of important data from these videos will be a long and tedious process.

Summarized Solution

The goal of our project consists of two phases:

Phase 1	Phase 2
Create an AI Machine that can analyze our clients videos and categorize them based on video quality	Create an easy-to-use, interactive website that allows volunteers to further analyze videos quickly and efficiently
