PCI Big Beam Competition 2024 - 2025
This competition involves student teams designing and testing an 18 foot beam. The competition is judged based on a variety of factors including accuracy of predictions, failure within a given range, cost effectiveness, and maximum deflection.
This webpage documents the design process of the Northern Arizona University (NAU) student team for project client, the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI).
