Circular Polymers strives to reuse waste products on a daily bases, ensuring bulks of carpet do not waste away in a landfill. Circular Polymer's unique, and advanced method of recycling carpet has allowed the team to use a byproduct of this process in the canoe. Post Consumer Carpet - Calcium Carbonate (PC4) was an essential material used in the canoe to allow for greater sustainability. We appreciate and are thankful for this great company.

National Waste Recovery (NWR) strives to find suitable solutions to keep materials from ending up in a landfill. The owner of NWR worked closely with the team and gave guidance on how to incorporate PC4 into the mixture design. National Waste Recovery also donated PC4, a huge success in the competition. The team is very grateful for the owner at NWR and hopes they will continue to aid future teams.
