The 2021 NAU Concrete Canoe Team
The first NAU Concrete Canoe was built in 1977. NAU has been participating in the ASCE Competition since then.
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Concrete Compeition challenges engineering students to design a concrete canoe.
Through the design process, engineering students gain hand-on experience. They are encouraged to build relationships with profrssionals and fellow students.
This year's team is focusing on developing a strong mentee program of underclassmen to sustain the tradition of concrete canoe at NAU.
