Alternative Biosorbents

Welcome to our capstone website. The purpose of our capstone is to assess the viabilitiy of using corn cobs as a biosorbent to remove cadmium from drinking water. Cadmium causes serious chronic health effects when consumed through water. This research project aims to identify cheaper alternatives to remove cadmium from drinking water compared to conventional treatment methods.
