Modeling of both steel members and connections will be performed in order to properly analyize the proposed bridge before moving onto the fabrication process.
Members will be prepared with respect to the shop drawings of the design. Welding and complex cutting is to be subcontracted out to expedite the process and ensure a high quality final product is produced.
The bridge will be constructed in competition on April 14th, 2018 in Tempe, Arizona for the 2018 ASCE Pacific Southwest Conference.

Each member is a senior civil engineering student at Northern Arizona University. Together, we formed the 2017-2018 Steel Bridge Team to explore our interests in structural design.
From sketches to models, a bridge design was selected and connections designs were fine tuned.
With the help of our sponsors, Page Steel and K-zell Metals, fabrication started in mid-January!
On April 14th, 2018 the team competed in the 2018 Pacific Southwest Conference!
