Sun Valley Water & Wastewater Project
Project Description
This project involves the evaluation and design of both an on-site water supply and wastewater system for the Sun Valley Ranch. This ranch is a 10 acre, vacant lot located in the Painted Desert region of Northeastern Arizona. The ranch will be self-sufficient ranch, incorporate ecologically friendly buildings, and serve as a retreat center for writers and artists. The client has requested that the water and wastewater systems be cost-efficient and non-intrusive.

Mohammad Alsabah - Project Engineer
Civil Engineering Undergraduate
Graduating in May 2015
Mohammad is an international student from Kuwait. After graduation he will return to Kuwait to pursue a career in traffic and highway design. As the project engineer, he analyzes the alternative options for each of the systems and performs calculations to determine their demand requirements. His favorite hobbies are playing soccer and traveling.

Sara Bateman- Administrative Assistant
Environmental Engineering Undergraduate
Graduating in May 2015
Sara is originally from the Northern Arizona area. After graduation she will pursue a career in water & wastewater disinfection and solid & hazardous waste management. As the administrative assistant, she creates and edits meeting agendas, minutes, and reports and communicates with the technical adviser and client. She enjoys biking and hiking.

Mary Strong- Lab Technician

Graduating in May 2015
Mary is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. After graduation she will pursue a career in landfill development. As the lab technician, she perfoms the soil analysis and testing for the project. Her favorite hobbies are yoga, photography, and fitness.
