Northern Arizona University (NAU)

Is a public university located in Flagstaff, Arizona, United States. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools,

and has 36 satellite campuses in the state of Arizona. The university offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Both Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering Programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org.

 

PCI Big Beam

The team must work with a PCI Producer Member ( located in Phoenix) to build a precast concrete beam per the specifications in the 2013 - 2014 Big Beam Brochure.

The beam will be tested and prizes awarded for best performance in the stated areas. Project requires full participation in pre-stressed/pre-cast concrete design training by

Dr. Tuchscherer, and the construction day on Phoenix. Upon completion of the construction the beam will be tested to failure at NAU.
